LEMON DROP SILVER TORCH
Slender, pure silver white spined stems arise and branch from base bearing small, pure yellow, firecracker shaped flowers along the sides, blooming from spring through summer. Slow growing and only to about 2 1/2 feet tall. Needs some shade in hot desert climates, great coastal and coastal inland plant. Should be planted on a mound, or in a container with lots of sand, as good drainage is important. Hardy to high 20s, colder than which it will get damage to the tips. This is a very rare and seldom seen variety.
