Echeveria glauca (imbricata) hybrid BLUE HENS AND CHICKS
Rich, broad, spoon shaped blue leaves are arranged in beautiful symmetrical, bowl shaped rosettes. The "chicks" pup out around the base of the "momma hen" until it forms a small clump up to 20" wide. Very pretty, coral pink flowers arise on slender stems above the clump, intermittently throughout the year. Likes cool coastal climates, or part shade in inland areas. Hardy to the high 20s, enjoys regular garden watering with good drainage, but can tolerate brief dry periods.
