Portulacaria afra minima EMERALD ELEPHANT CARPET
Tiny little leaves, not even the diameter of tiny, dark, green peas strung on ruby red stems like a necklace, cascade downward from edges of pots and over crags and corners of rocks. This is a permanent, flat-growing (or hanging) little succulent shrub- not to be confused with the growth habit of ice-plants and such. Beautiful on edges of potted plant groupings, in nooks and crannies of rock gardens, and even as a great house-plant in a sunny window. 2-3" high, spreading to 24," tender to frost. Full sun, coastal, as well as part shade anywhere except indoors.
